frozen blueberry yogurt
2 cups frozen blueberries
2 cups mild yogurt – find recipe for homemade yogurt here.
¼ cup honey
Put frozen berries and honey in a food processor and turn it on.
While it’s still mixing, pour in the yogurt and continue mixing unti it’s all frozen, it will take less than a minute.
Leftovers can be frozen but has to be re-mixed in a food processor to restore its fluffy texture.
honey lavender crunch
1 tablespoon fresh lavender flowers or 1 tsp dried
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon cream or milk
Bring all ingredients to a slow boil for 10 minutes.
Pour caramel through a fine sieve and eliminate the lavender flowers before returning the caramel to the pan.
Bring back to a slow to medium boil for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drip a few drops of caramel into a glass filled with cold water. If the caramel drop completely hardens, it’s ready. If it doesn’t harden, keep boiling until it does.
Pour a thin layer of caramel onto parchment paper and refrigerate until hardened.
Pulse cracked caramel in a food processor or spice grinder until it turns into a grainy powder.
