We all want to include our furry friends in our special occasions and chances are the dog loving friend will appreciate a bag of homemade dog biscuits more than any kind of cookies for the Holidays. Wether presented as a treat for good behavior, in a gift bag or as a special treat next to your own dinner plate, these surprisingly easy to make liver biscuits will make your pups go wild with excitement.

gluten free dog biscuits with chicken liver & peanut butter
¾ pound raw chicken liver
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup coconut oil
1 cup brown rice flour
½ cup potato starch
Put raw liver in a sauce pan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat and leave for one hour. Keep the lid on.
Drain liver and add to a food processor with peanut butter, coconut oil and egg. Process until smooth.
Add dry ingredients and continue to process until it forms a dough, it will only take a minute.
Press or roll out dough to ⅛-¼ inch thickness on a flat surface lightly dusted with brown rice flour.
Cut out biscuits with a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake at 400F/200C for 15-20 minutes until dry.
Makes 40-60 biscuits depending on size.
